why we started

The story of Dr.Barky's started with the journey of finding the best shampoo for a furry little one of Tong. Her beloved furry friend, Balloon is a cute Pomeranian, was diagnosed with dermatitis. Balloon had a very thin layer of hair that could almost show all of her skin. She needed special care for her fur and skin so Tong had been searching for the best shampoo all along. Unfortunately, she didn’t get to find Balloon the best fur care product before Balloon left. However, the whole experience she had with Balloon inspired her to create the brand Dr.Barky’s and brought the Italian botanist she met back in 2020’s formula into Hong Kong. She's always wanted to deliver the best and most natural shampoo for all furry little friends. Dr.Barky's hopes to use the wonderful power of nature and bring the “perfect fur care” for the ones you love in order to bring them health.
